A stunning image taken over an active volcano and compared to the Big Bang has triumphed in this year’s Drone Photo Awards competition.
Armand Sarlangue captured the stunning image above Iceland’s red-hot Fagradalsfjall volcano, looking down into its molten depths.
The shot was the overall winner of the Siena Awards drone photography competition and was selected by the jury from thousands of images submitted by 2,624 entrants from 116 countries.
