America could have funded the Chinese coronavirus

It reads like science fiction, but it’s very real. The United States paid for the work that likely created COVID-19. Research that could produce a bioweapon – genetically the highest possible infectivity for human cells – has been awarded to the Chinese. A series of cover-ups mean we’ll likely never know the truth about why our loved ones died.

There are two origin stories for COVID-19. One is that it originated naturally and evolved from a bat virus to infect humans. The other is that COVID-19 was genetically engineered by China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology and fled to the world. In that year you spent at home, the loved ones who died could have been our own fault. The point is more than blame; Understanding the true origin of the pandemic is critical to preventing the pandemic from reoccurring, as well as providing guidance for future function gain research.

The first life scientist to seriously study the origins of the virus suggested that it may have been manipulated by humans rather than nature. More recently, science journalist Nicholas Wade asked directly, “Has humans or nature opened Pandora’s box in Wuhan?” by doing Nuclear Scientists Bulletin and makes a strong argument that it was us.

It starts with the EcoHealth Alliance in New York. For 20 years they have been creating viruses that are more dangerous than those that exist in nature. Scientists argue that by staying one step ahead of nature, they could predict and prevent “overflows” from animal hosts to humans. Like something Jurassic ParkThis is known as gain-function research and genetic manipulation to “improve” nature. This work has already enabled scientists to recreate the 1918 flu virus, synthesize the nearly-extinct poliovirus, and insert a smallpox gene into a related virus.

Some of this work was done at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in collaboration with researchers from the University of North Carolina. In particular, they focused on improving the bat virus’ ability to attack humans. In November 2015, they jointly created a manufactured virus that was once only dangerous to bats, but can now infect the cells of the human respiratory tract.

The key Chinese researcher in Wuhan, Shi Zhengli, known as “Bat Lady”, further specialized in the development of coronaviruses to attack human cells. Her research was funded by the Obama Administration’s National Institute for Allergies and Infectious Diseases, which is part of the National Institutes of Health. The NIH initially awarded these grants to EcoHealth, which awarded the work to Wuhan. The work that likely created COVID-19 has been paid for by the United States.

The Wuhan laboratory was a hub of attention even before the pandemic. Wuhan took its virus database offline after a controversial corona lecture the Bat Lady gave in Mozambique in September 2019. The Chinese government still refuses to provide raw data, security logs or laboratory records. Another Wuhan scientist had to leave a Canadian university to send deadly viruses, including Ebola, back to China. The lab also tried to steal intellectual property related to remdesivir, a class of antiviral drugs used to treat COVID-19 before the vaccine. The editors of the Bat Lady’s virology journal are made up of members of the Chinese military.

As early as 2018, Wuhan alerted the visit of security inspectors from the US State Department. “The new laboratory has a serious shortage of the appropriately trained technicians and investigators necessary for the safe operation of this high-safety laboratory,” wrote the inspectors. They warned the lab’s work on “Bat coronavirus and its possible human transmission posed the risk of a new SARS-like pandemic.” The Chinese worked under BSL2-level security conditions that were far too lax to contain a virus like COVID-19.

The other theory of origin, natural origination, has never had any evidence for it. Wades Notice The report said, “This was surprising because both the SARS1 and MERS viruses [related to COVID-19] had left plenty of traces in the environment. The intermediate host species of SARS1 was identified within four months of the outbreak of the epidemic and the host of MERS within nine months. “

About 15 months into the COVID-19 pandemic, Chinese researchers were unable to find the original bat population, the intermediate species that COVID-19 may have jumped to, or serological evidence that a Chinese population, including that of Wuhan, was searching for The natural origin of the virus in China involved examining more than 80,000 different animals from dozens of Chinese provinces. Not a single case of COVID-19 has been found in nature. Chinese researchers found urfalls in people from Wuhan unrelated to this infamous humid market. China claims to have sold an infected bat that was eaten by Patient One.

Why does the natural origin theory persist? One of the strongest expressions of support was a letter from dozens of scientists published in the UK Medical Journal in early 2020 lancet. The letter wasn’t actually written by the scientists, but by Peter Daszak, President of EcoHealth, the fellow who had subcontracted Wuhan. If the virus had indeed escaped the research they funded, EcoHealth might be liable, as would, of course, the American government. EcoHealth went on to include undisputed stories in the MSM calling anyone who believed Wuhan was to blame a conspiracy crank.

Meanwhile, a China-affiliated scientific journal commissioned a commentary from the University of Massachusetts Medical School to refute that COVID-19 originated in the Wuhan laboratory, the same position as the Chinese government. The magazine mirrored the American media and called everything opposite “speculation, rumors and conspiracy theories”. Chinese officials also rejected names elsewhere, such as the Wuhan flu, that linked the virus to China.

In addition to these cover-up efforts, there were those of Dr. Anthony Fauci. In response to Senator Rand Paul, Fauci stated, “You are utterly and utterly wrong – the NIH has never funded any function gains research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.” He appears to have committed perjury, as Fauci now admits that “there is no way to guarantee” that American tax dollars passed to Wuhan did not fund functional gains research. Fauci also has reversed to say in full that he was no longer convinced that COVID developed naturally. The Senate then passed an amendment, sponsored by Rand Paul, prohibiting funding of functional gain research in China.

The cover-up was supported in every way by the media. Although in 2021 the Wall Street JournalThree researchers from the Wuhan Institute of Virology reported that they got “sick enough” in November 2019 [a month before the first “public” cases] With COVID-19-like symptoms, which they visited in a hospital according to a previously unpublished U.S. intelligence report, they along with their colleagues showed little curiosity a year earlier.

An important word in the Journals Reporting is not disclosed. They mean the media didn’t know about the report, but the US government did. When President Trump spoke of his now forward-looking decision to suspend travel from China in early 2020, he knew about the Intel report. As in most cases involving intelligence, the president had to respond to the information and inform the public without revealing sources or methods. Today no thinking person can claim that the step to stop the trip was a mistake.

However, the media had other priorities. They immediately criticized the decision as racist and promoted the Chinese government’s evidence-free statement that the Wuhan laboratory was unrelated to the pandemic.

A WaPo The headline read, “Experts Debunk the Marginal Theory Linking China’s Coronavirus to Weapons Research,” and a separate story said the belief that the Chinese had anything to do with the creation of COVID was as credible as the Soviet Union in 1985, in which the CIA was accused of creating AIDS. “Senator Tom Cotton reiterates the marginal theory of coronavirus origins,” the said New York Times in February 2020, adding, “Scientists have rejected proposals that the Chinese government was behind the outbreak.” The Times’S However, Article did not name any of the supposed scientists. Then there was a hagiographic bio piece about the bat lady. Later, time named her one of the 100 Most Influential People of 2020. The media ruled dissenting, even ridiculing the Nobel Prize-winning co-discoverer of HIV for suggesting non-natural origins.

Only now, months after the security of the Biden administration, is the media ready to peek inside Pandora’s box. Since then, Politifact has withdrawn its “fact-checking” and Facebook has announced that it will no longer censor posts claiming the virus was man-made.

Despite the deaths of millions of people, Washington still has little interest in the origin issue. The Biden government closed an investigation by the State Department in March this year, claiming it was politically motivated. Under pressure, Biden later asked for his own slow-roll investigation, which would likely lead to the happy conclusion that none of the scenarios can be safely ruled out or excluded.

There will be no smoking gun. The people who know the truth, the Chinese and American governments and EcoHealth have already been caught lying. Although this type of gain-of-function research leaves no physical marker to prove its origin, there is so far no evidence that COVID-19 was of natural origin. There is much to show that this was not the case.

We know that Wuhan has been conducting functional gains research aimed at doing what COVID-19 is doing. In the process, a virus that was originally not dangerous to humans became a superinfector that spreads quickly and at the same time resists the medicines and vaccines available at the time. We know that the first cases of the virus have appeared in Wuhan, and we include researchers from the virology lab who became infected in November 2019. We know the precautions taken in the laboratory were not enough to contain the virus. In a murder case, this would be enough to show a jury unequivocally means, motives and methods.

We know that basic research on gaining functionality in the laboratory was funded by the United States. We also know that despite the global significance of the story, there was no curiosity in the media. Instead, they promoted the cover-up stories.

We are unlikely to ever learn the full truth, and politicians and experts will make the most of the ambiguity. But we know that the people who lost loved ones, lost their jobs and were desperate under social constraints, deserve better.
