An anonymous donor will pay for funerals for victims of Texas school shootings

A mysterious Good Samaritan will pay for the funerals of all victims of the Robb Elementary School massacre in Texas, Gov. Greg Abbott said on Friday.

“An anonymous donor has pledged $175,000 to ensure all of each family’s expenses are met related to funeral services,” Abbott said at a news conference announcing resources for victims of the Uvalde mass shooting.

“No family suffering incalculable heartbreak at this time need worry about a single prize in relation to anything related to this travesty.”

On Tuesday, 19 students and two teachers were butchered by 18-year-old gunman Salvador Ramos, who was later gunned down by police, authorities said.
