Biden’s immigration policy proves that his “employment program” is a scam

On March 31, 2021, the White House published a press release on Biden’s “American Jobs Plan,” which created more than just good jobs. Before we even think about how the Biden administration would supposedly create well-paying jobs for Americans, however, we should remember how his government deals with immigration – or more precisely, it doesn’t deal with immigration.

Immigration has a huge impact on American jobs and wages. In fact, prior to World War II, the main body responsible for enforcing and administering our country’s immigration laws was with the Department of Labor. Immigration law enforcement agencies were relocated to the Department of Justice when our leaders realized that enemy saboteurs and spies are seeking access to our nation in order to undermine our national security, much like they did after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

During the Great Depression, President Franklin D. Roosevelt tried to get the American economy going by getting Americans back to work. To that end, the FDR has stepped up enforcement of American immigration laws to protect American workers from competition from foreign workers who would not only flood the labor pool but also be willing to work in inferior conditions for inferior wages.

Effective immigration law enforcement then protected American workers from both, and could and should continue to do so today. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, many American workers and their families are struggling, much like the Americans who suffered during the Great Depression. Rather than enforcing our immigration laws like the FDR, the Biden government allowed and even encouraged a human tsunami of foreigners to the United States across the US-Mexico border.

Additionally, Biden has crippled immigration law enforcement inside the United States as well. In connection with the guidelines on the establishment of “protected cities” and “protected states”, illegal aliens receive a driver’s license and a number of advantages that not only do not deter illegal immigration, but actually create incentives for illegal immigration.

The provision of driving licenses to illegal aliens who are “undocumented” – meaning there is no way to determine their true identity – undermines national and public security and goes against the findings and recommendations of the 9/11 Commission . The mayors and governors of the protected areas cheerfully declare that illegal foreigners need a driver’s license so that they can safely drive to work! (So much for protecting the jobs and wages of unhappy American workers and their struggling families.)

Biden also wants to provide a route to US citizenship for foreigners who have been granted Temporary Protection Status (TPS) in the US. These are foreigners, including illegal aliens whose home countries suffered a disaster in the United States. However, the emergency that led to the issuance of TPS often occurred many, many years ago, and conditions in their home country may have improved. Temporary should be temporary. Consider the case of foreigners who are granted TPS and who work as construction workers in the United States. Does it make sense to have illegal foreign construction workers build and repair homes and other structures in the US when their skills are badly needed in their home countries to rebuild their countries after a disaster?

Biden and the Democrats also want a path to US citizenship for “dreamers”. The term “DREAMer” is an abbreviation for “Development, Help and Education for Foreign Minors”. (It is interesting that the term “foreigner” is acceptable when used in an acronym that conjures up the desired images, but is prohibited in all other circumstances.) The original DREAM bill was intended to give illegal aliens a route to US law. Provide citizenship who allegedly arrived in the United States before their 16th birthday. However, foreigners could have applied for amnesty as DREAMERS under this latest immigration law if they had done so before their 35th birthday. Aliens just have to claim Arriving in the United States before the age of 16. Without the ability to conduct field research or interviews on such a large population, fraud would permeate this program.

It is noteworthy that in his address to Congress on illegal immigration, Biden said, “There are over 11 million undocumented people, the vast majority here have exceeded visas.” Presumably, the president wants Americans to forget about the lack of border security and the crisis that goes with it. However, visa violations are also a major problem and foreigners who violate their visa not only exceed the approved entry period, but almost always work illegally.

Regarding Biden’s claim of 11 million “undocumented” people, a 2018 Yale study found twice as many undocumented immigrants as earlier estimates. The report says, “Using mathematical models on a range of data on demographic and immigration operations, the researchers estimate that there are 22.1 million undocumented immigrants in the United States.”

However, what is never discussed when it comes to the status of undocumented immigrants and a possible path to legalization is the fact that all newly legalized aliens would have the immediate and absolute right to all of their spouses and minor children other than to the United States accommodate lawful immigrants. If, for the sake of argument, 20 million illegal aliens were legalized, and each of those aliens had (or claim to have) an average of only four children, 80 million underage immigrants could enter the United States.

Imagine the ecological, economic and social effects this would have. Everyone has an impact on the environment and needs water, food, electricity, sewage, access to health care, education, transportation, and other basic needs. As these underage immigrants got older, they joined the overcrowded labor pool. Imagine the impact this would have on the jobs and wages Biden promises for the struggling Americans.

The illegal employment of foreigners was earlier a traditional matter that affects the Democrats and the American left. In 2020, BuzzFeed News examined Senator Bernie Sanders’ evolving positions on immigration, including his early work-based opposition to “immigration reform.”

“I think we have very serious immigration problems in this country,” Sanders said during a 2007 press event sponsored by AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka.

“I think, as you heard today, there are practically no sanctions against employers who employ illegal immigrants. Our border is very porous. And I think at a time when the middle class is shrinking, we have to be the last in a few years Bring millions of people into this country willing to cut wages for American workers. “

Clearly, Sanders was concerned at the time about the harmful effects of illegally employed foreigners on Americans. However, since then he and radical Democrats have reversed their positions on this important issue.

Now Biden wants to extend citizenship to foreign farm workers who “put groceries on our tables.” The obvious question is “why?” Foreigners working illegally in the United States are violating federal laws designed to protect the lives and jobs of Americans. Their wages are getting bad. When individuals acquire money or other property in violation of the law, their money and property are forfeited. Why should this be any different for illegal aliens?

The ill-conceived massive alien amnesty of 1986 was an element of the 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) enacted during the Reagan administration. It should give legal status to roughly one million illegal aliens. Ultimately, more than 3.5 million foreigners were granted legal status and no one knows how many millions of family members were later admitted under this program. A number of alleged farm workers who had received an amnesty under the IRCA committed fraud and subsequently participated in terrorist attacks. The official report “9/11 and Terrorist Travel – Employee Report of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks on the United Statesnoticed:

After terrorists entered the US, their next challenge was to find a way to stay here. Their primary method was immigration fraud. For example, [Ramzi] Yousef and [Ahmed] Ajaj made up fake political asylum stories when they arrived in the United States. Mahmoud Abouhalima, who was involved in both the World Trade Center and the land, was granted temporary residency under the Seasonal Agricultural Workers (SAW) program after falsely claiming he picked beans in Florida.

The Biden administration’s failure to secure our nation’s borders undermines national security, public safety, public health, and jobs and wages for Americans. Bad as the situation now is, Biden’s plans for the future are all contrary to the best interests of America and America and would encourage even more foreigners to make their way to our borders, confident that the Biden administration will take no action to prevent them from entering the US Once in the United States, they will have nothing to fear from immigration law enforcement as part of Biden’s immigration policy.

With Congress considering this administration’s immigration and employment agendas, President Biden only has to ask how his immigration policies will benefit America and the Americans. That is the only question that should be asked of all politicians.
