Cindy McCain on her latest challenge

Cindy McCain took up her new post in Rome this month as executive director of the UN World Food Programme, an organization working in 123 countries with the ambitious goal of ending world hunger. She speaks with correspondent Seth Doane about the mounting political and logistical challenges of feeding the world’s most vulnerable, a task made even more critical by the pandemic and war in Ukraine; and the advice she continues to take from her husband, the late Senator John McCain.
