Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly told Manchester United that he wants to leave if the team receive a good offer
Kevin Durant isn’t the only superstar wearing the number 7 who is looking to leave his current team. According to Fabrizio Romano, Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly told Manchester United that he wants to leave the club if they get a good offer for him.
Aware of Ronaldo’s request, Manchester United still believe they can keep the 37-year-old star.
Ronaldo reportedly wants Manchester United to make improvements. Despite 24 goals from Ronaldo, the team failed to qualify for the Champions League last season.
Ronaldo returned to Manchester United in 2021 when the team acquired him on a transfer with Juventus. It was the second time he played for Manchester United. He played with the team from 2003 to 2009 and scored 84 goals for the club. Following the transfer from Juventus, Ronaldo reportedly signed a two-year deal with Manchester United. He still has a year left on his contract.
Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes reportedly met with Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly in June, where the two reportedly discussed Ronaldo’s move to Chelsea. Mendes may also have discussed Ronaldo’s availability with Bayern, according to The Athletic.
