Donald Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts are restored after a two-year suspension following the January 6 riot.

“If Mr. Trump continues to post infringing content, the content will be removed and he will be suspended for a period of one month to two years, depending on the severity of the violation,” said Meta, based in Menlo Park, California. said.

Mr Trump was suspended on Jan. 7, a day after the deadly 2021 riot.
The suspension prompted other social media companies to take similar steps.
But he was recently reinstated on Twitter after Elon Musk took over the company, although he has yet to tweet on the platform.

One Republican, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss private conversations with Mr Trump about returning to the platform, said: “Trump is likely to come back to Twitter. It’s just a matter of how and when.
“He’s been talking about this for weeks, but Trump speaks for Trump, so anyone can guess what he’s going to do or say or when.”
