Former Scrubs producer Eric Weinberg was jailed Tuesday after bail was revoked in his sex crimes case, which includes more than a dozen charges against him.

Weinberg, 62, was previously free on $5 million bail after he was arrested earlier this month on 18 felonies related to the alleged sexual assault of five women in the Los Angeles area.

He pleaded not guilty Tuesday, and Los Angeles Superior Court Justice Victoria B. Wilson sided with prosecutors when they called Weinberg a potential threat to society. The judge ordered remand pending his next court hearing on November 15.

Weinberg fell onto a wooden bench behind him as Wilson said, “The defendant has been involved in a pattern of violence against women for over six years,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The outlet reported that Assistant District Attorney Marlene Martinez said in court that he goes to all young women “and uses his status as a writer and producer to manipulate those women.”

Prosecutors said he lured the alleged victims to his home under the guise of photoshoots before allegedly assaulting them.

The crimes he is charged with span from 2014 to 2019, although investigators said there may be other attack victims dating back to the 1990s, Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon said at a news conference earlier this month.

During Tuesday’s arraignment, defense attorney Philip Cohen proposed his client be released on bail but without access to social media and a ban on speaking to women he doesn’t know or visiting certain locations, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

He even suggested house arrest, but Judge Wilson shot down “crimes committed in the safety and privacy of his home,” the outlet reported.

According to his IMDb profile, Weinberg has co-executive-produced nearly 100 episodes of “Scrubs” and written nearly a dozen episodes of the comedy-drama.

He also worked on the show California as a co-executive producer and had various credits on shows such as Anger Management and Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher.

Documents filed in Weinberg’s divorce and custody proceedings allege that he sexually assaulted three women during photo shoots, the Los Angeles Times reported.

One woman said she met Weinberg at a coffee shop in 2014, aged 22, and returned to him for a photoshoot, where she stripped down to her underwear before he began the photoshoot. But during filming, he sexually assaulted her, including rape, according to documents obtained by the LA Times.

According to the Los Angeles Times, he was originally arrested in July and released on $3.5 million bail before being arrested again in early October on broader charges.

He currently faces charges including rape, oral copulation, forcible sexual penetration, sexual harassment through bondage, false imprisonment through use of force, violent assault and attempted forcible penetration with a foreign object, the office said.
