FA Cup fourth round odds, matchups, schedule

English football returns from international break this weekend with the fourth round of the FA Cup.

The first of 16 games begins on Friday when Manchester United host Middlesbrough. There are 13 games on Saturday and three on Sunday as the field is reduced to 16 teams. Unlike previous seasons, if the teams are tied at the end of extra time, fourth round matches will be decided on penalties. In the case of tied games, there are no replays until the fifth round.

There were a few teams from the lower division that prevailed in the third round. Kidderminster Harriers defeated championship contenders Reading to take West Ham as a reward in the fourth round. Cambridge United beat Newcastle in the third round and host Luton Town on Saturday for a chance to advance to the fifth round.

We’re guaranteed to see at least three Premier League teams eliminated from the tournament over the weekend. Three matchups will take place between EPL teams on Saturday, including a game between Tottenham and Brighton & Hove Albion. Every other EPL team remaining in the tournament is a clear favorite against their opponent.

There is also an EPL game on Saturday. Both Watford and Burnley were knocked out in the third round so they’re playing a make-up game. Burnley is +115 to win at home while Watford is +240 to get the excitement on the road.

The Premier League returns midweek so many teams could play backups at the weekend to prepare for the league. Keep this in mind when betting on the weekend’s games.

Here are the fourth round odds via BetMGM. All games are played on Saturday unless otherwise noted.
