Team previews

Turkey (+4000 to win Euro 2020)

Premier League fans will recognize players like center-backs Caglar Soyuncu and Ozan Kabak, as well as strikers Cengiz Under. And if Turkey’s last dozen internationals are any indication, this team will score a lot of goals and give up a lot too. Turkey has only excluded two opponents and scored 24 goals since October 2020. This attacking football is why Turkey’s chances of winning Euro 2020 are not too high and they should be a fun watch one way or another.

Best bid

Over 3.5 goals in the group stage (+130)

Italy (+1000)

Italy is a sneaky pick to win the entire tournament as its chances of winning are higher than Portugal and Spain. Gianluigi Donnarumma will be in goal while the defense will again be anchored by Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini. Finding a reliable striker among Federico Bernardeschi, Ciro Immobile and Lorenzo Insigne will be crucial to Italy’s chances of winning the entire tournament.

Best bid

Italy take 7 points in the group stage (+225)

Wales (+10000)

How much does Gareth Bale have to give? The Real Madrid and Tottenham striker is back to lead Wales with Joe Allen, Ben Davies and Wayne Hennessy from Euro 2016. Wales won Group B in 2016 en route to a semi-final match that included a surprise for Belgium. Chances are Wales will do so again.

Best bid

Over 2.5 goals in the group stage (-110)

Switzerland (+8000)

The Swiss came back to beat a young US team 2-1 less than a week ago after Steven Zuber scored the winning goal in the 63rd minute. Switzerland will likely play Breel Embolo at the top, bringing him together with Haris Seferovic against the Americans Xherdan Shaqiri from the US and Granit Xhaka from Arsenal, will again be the most important cogs in midfield as Switzerland tries to get out of a group which seems pretty good even behind Italy.

Best bid

Switzerland does not qualify for the knockout round (+130)
