Hunter Biden spotted with Melissa Cohen amid reports of cracks in marriage
Hunter Biden was spotted with his wife and young son in Malibu on Thursday amid rumors about the state of the couple’s marriage and the federal investigation into the first son.
Biden was seen carrying their toddler Beau and walking side-by-side with wife Melissa Cohen as they crossed a street while members of the Secret Service walked behind them.
The outing was unusual for the family, who were rarely seen in public.
Biden has tried to keep a low profile while federal investigators probe his taxes and business deals abroad.
The investigation – which is being conducted by Trump-appointed US Attorney David Weiss of Delaware – is nearing a “critical” stage, according to recent reports, and legal experts believe prosecutors may be weighing a possible plea deal for the president’s son.
Previous reports from Fox News and CNN have suggested that Biden could face possible tax bills and foreign lobbying charges, but a former Justice Department official and other legal experts said a “generous guilty plea” is more likely on the horizon.

The investigation and subsequent need to stay out of the public eye have reportedly taken a toll on the first son and his family.
Sources close to Biden and his South African wife said their marriage was in jeopardy.
“The couple feel like they’re locked inside their home in Little Rock, Malibu, under constant surveillance by Secret Service,” a source told The Post.

“They are not going anywhere because they have been instructed to stay out of sight and away from cameras while the investigation into Hunter continues,” the source said.
According to the source, Cohen’s cabin fever was also made worse by Hunter’s behavior behind closed doors.
“The reality is he’s a train wreck and life with him behind closed doors is very tough. She had no idea what she was getting herself into.”
The source added, “But there is still love and she loves her son. She’s focused on him, right now that’s all she can do.”
Biden, 52, and Cohen, 35, married in a surprise ceremony in May 2019, just six days after they met. They welcomed their son Beau, who was named after Biden’s late brother – in March 2020.
