Legislators held reconnaissance tours in the Capitol prior to the uprising, according to NJ Rep
A New Jersey congressman accused some of the Capitol legislature’s leading groups of “investigating” the day before a pro-Trump mob riot.
New Jersey MP Mikie Sherrill said in a live Facebook address Tuesday night to voters that she had witnessed the alleged scouting.
The unidentified members of Congress “had groups coming through the Capitol,” “a clearing for the next day,” Sherrill said.
In the over 13-minute video, Sherrill said she intended to see these lawmakers “being held accountable and, if necessary, ensuring that they do not serve in Congress”.
Sherrill did not identify lawmakers or provide any further information on what constitutes education.
She recalled her report on the Capitol Siege and explained to constituents the steps the House is taking to indict President Trump.
