A Sydney man was arrested in connection with a $ 116 million heroin bust in Australia – the largest in the country in nearly two decades, authorities said.

The arrest is the culmination of a month-long investigation that began in December when Australian Border Police officers found about 750 pounds of heroin in industrial plants imported from Malaysia, police said in a press release.
