
Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk take cage fight ‘dead serious’, says UFC boss Science and technology news
Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk are “absolutely serious” about fighting each other in a cage fight, the UFC boss has said.
The tech billionaires took to their respective social media platforms, Instagram And Twitterthis week to show their willingness to fight — and both have apparently since spoken to mixed martial arts boss Dana White.
Speaking to TMZ Live, the UFC promoter and president said a Pile of sugar vs musk The fight would even dwarf its earnings and viewership a 2017 boxing extravaganza between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregorseen by 50 million people in the US alone.
“There’s no limit to what this thing can do,” said White, who revealed he spoke to the couple “last night.”
“Both are absolutely serious.”
Musk, 51, appeared to ignite the fire under Zuckerberg’s stomach by saying he was “up for a cage fight if he was up for it.”
He tweeted the challenge in response to a report from his rival Meta Pursue plans his own version of Twitterwhich is widely reported to be an Instagram spin-off called Threads.

Zuckerberg, 39, posted a screenshot of Musk’s tweet on his Instagram Story with the caption “Send me location.”
The CEO of SpaceX and Tesla then suggested the Vegas Octagon as the venue. It is an octagonal caged fighting arena that hosts UFC fights in Las Vegas.
A meta spokesman didn’t deny that the fight could actually take place, saying only that he had “nothing to add”.
Zuckerberg will likely be confident going forward — he’s younger than Musk and trained with a jiu-jitsu teamwhile Musk has previously admitted that he rarely exercises “other than picking up my kids and throwing them in the air.”
The meta owner shared photos of him winning medals in his first tournament earlier this year.
