A new AI-generated scam ad for an investment app will cause vulnerable people to lose money and ruin lives, warned Martin Lewis, founder of Money Saving Expert.

He said it was the first time he had been used for such a video scam.

Speaking to the BBC, Mr Lewis added: “These people are trying to falsify and destroy my reputation to steal money from vulnerable people and honestly that’s a disgrace and people are going to lose money and people’s mental health will suffer.” affected.”

“Vulnerable and many non-vulnerable people are being scammed in this country and nothing is being done about it,” he said.
