Several people are injured in a shooting in the San Francisco Mission District

According to police, several people were injured in the Mission District neighborhood of San Francisco on Friday evening.

San Francisco police did not release the number of victims or their condition.

“Please avoid the 24th/Treat St area as we are conducting an investigation related to a shooting.” San Francisco Police said in a statement. “Updates will be released as they become available.”

According to ABC7, gunshot victims were transported to San Francisco General Hospital.

The shooting happened around 9 p.m. before a block party hosted by clothing retailer Dying Breed. according to journalist Matthew Keys.

The clothing store was celebrating its six-year anniversary before the shooting when hip-hop group RBL Posse was scheduled to perform.
