Teenage rampages ransack Philadelphia Wawa and twerk on the counter

Dozens of rampaging youths vandalized a Wawa supermarket in northeast Philadelphia on Saturday night – hurling food and drinks at each other while a belligerent young woman twerked on a counter, video of the chaos shows.

The rowdy group of about 100 young people was caught on video — shot inside the chain layer at 7001 Roosevelt Blvd. – when they searched the store around 8:20pm and recorded the chaos on their phones.

A clerk can be heard filming the wild scene from behind a sandwich counter in the store as he berates the vandals.

“You’re all stupid,” he said in the video. “Really. You’re all stupid, ugly, broke.”

A video of the episodes shows the store completely torn apart. The floor is covered with items pulled from shelves, spilled drinks and trash.

According to the footage, the unruly crowd also broke several shelves at the store.

The lawlessness apparently continued into the store’s parking lot, where the vandals were caught screaming, swearing and fighting, video shows.

Philadelphia police said they responded to the scene and found about 100 youths at the Wawa stealing and damaging store merchandise. Officers dispersed the crowd but made no arrests.

There were no reported injuries, police said.

The youngsters unleashed anarchy at the supermarket while crime ramps up in the city of brotherly love.

On September 18, property crimes were up a whopping 32% and violent crimes were up nearly 7% from the same period last year.

Saturday’s vandalism mirrors a similar incident at a local store in Philly’s Germantown neighborhood last month.

In early August, a rampaging mob of teenagers ransacked a Jamaican restaurant, Zion Cuisine, attempting to harm its employees. The group overturned tables, threw chairs and other objects at workers and smashed safety glass in the restaurant, video shows.
