Texas woman accused of gunning down nail salon owner during the price feud
A Texas woman was arrested for allegedly shooting a nail salon owner during a price dispute, a report said.
Joana Vara (21) and her 20-year-old sister Quetzali Vara got caught on 29.
Joana paid for the services, left the shop, then returned and shot the man trying to force her outside.
The siblings fled the scene in a Ford Fusion.
The victim was hospitalized in critical but stable condition.
Last Thursday, Joana was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, the authorities said.
Quetzali was also arrested the same day, but not in connection with the nail salon attack, Click2Houston reported.
She was charged with escaping arrest during a traffic stop, the report said.
