The 8-year-old in Oklahoma was expelled after telling another girl that she had a crush on her

An 8-year-old Oklahoma girl was banned from her Christian school after telling a classmate that she had a crush on her, her mother told local media.

“My daughter cried and said,” Does God still love me? “Delanie Shelton from Owasso, Oklahoma, told KOKI from Tulsa.

Shelton’s daughter Chloe was a student at Rejoice Christian Schools, according to Outlet – at least until recently.

School policy forbids boyfriend and girlfriend relationships in general, and the administrators told the station that they are following the student manual.

Shelton told KOKI that her daughter Chloe’s assistant director put her down and said, “The Bible says you can only marry one man and have children with one man.”

Shelton said she later told the assistant principal that she thought it was “OK for girls to like girls” and that the administrator then “looked shocked and appalled.”

Rejoice did not immediately respond to a Fox News request for comment.

The school was founded on faith-based principles in 1992, according to its website. It is one of the largest Christian schools in the greater Tulsa area.

“You can look forward to Christian schools to train students together with their parents in biblical Christian principles and to create a high-quality academic foundation,” says the school’s mission statement.

In his explanation of philosophy, Deuteronomy 6: 5-7 is quoted and argued that parents are responsible for the education of their children.

Shelton said she raised her children so as not to judge others and to love whoever they want.

“They tore my kids out of the only school they ever really knew, away from their teachers and friends they had for the past four years about something my daughter probably doesn’t know or doesn’t fully understand,” she said the transmitter.
